Before I was a writer something gnawed at the back of my mind.
Like there was something important I'd forgotten to do,
or someone I'd forgotten I wanted to be.
Then the little girl within me grew wings and arose from the ashes of an abusive past and began to write.
I found the words and my muted soul found its voice.
