I love the way you write, the way you take the grit of life and make it haunting and beautiful. Just keep on doing what you do.
ReplyDeleteSqueeeeee, I have been meaning to get that book. I'm with Tricia, don't change a thing, although if you wanted to add more poetry, I would be the last person to argue. I love your poetry more than I love icecream. Nom.
ReplyDeleteOh I have not read this one yet, but every where I go I hear so much amazing feedback about it!
ReplyDeleteI think your blog works well because you have a good variety of writing/book related posts. I'm always partial to ones that muse over the techniques, however.
I like your blog because it has a bit of everything and I know I'll leave feeling inspired. :) I think you're great!
ReplyDeleteTabitha, I LOVE this blog and would not change a thing!!! There's just something about your writing!
ReplyDeleteDon't enter me in the drawing, b/c I have a copy of The Book Thief! Loved it!!!
Blessings,
Patti
I want to hear more about the boxing. It seems a strange dichotomy, writing the way you do, and also punching people in the face (and being punched in the face), many times over. :)
ReplyDeleteI have this book, so don't enter me. It's a must read for sure. And, I have not seen this cover that you have here. Mine is quite different. Cool.
ReplyDeleteYay for Katie! As for your blog - more of the same. There's a reason you have so many followers! :-)
ReplyDeleteCOngrats Katie! Alas, I have the book thief and yes, it is a masterful work. Hate to say it, but loved death ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Katie!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is great the way it is!
Congrats, Katie!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, Tabitha! Your writing is so beautiful!
Hmmm, not sure what else you could have on here. I already am entertained/touched by your posts, so you're probably on the right track. :-) Congrats to Katie!
ReplyDeleteI won't enter as I already have three, yes, THREE copies of that wonderful book.
ReplyDeleteBut whoever gets it is lucky indeed! ♥ It is one of the most beautiful books ever.
And this is such a lovely generous idea, Tabitha. :) You are just a bouquet of smiles.
The Book Thief is one of the best. Whoever gets it will be forever changed.
ReplyDeleteI love reading whatever you have to say here, Tab.
I love your rich prose and your personal bits and well, I just enjoy visiting your blog :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Katie! As for things I'd like to see on your blog, I would be grateful just to read any of your beautiful writing. Yours is one of my favorite blogs. Thanks for sharing your lovely words and images!
ReplyDeleteOh The Book Thief is one of our all-time favorite books. Amazing. Don't enter us in the contest though. This book needs to go to someone who's never read it before.
ReplyDeleteAnd we LOVE your blog. Especially your posts on day-to-day life. You have such a way with words.
I'd like to see more poetry and more memoir class stuff.
ReplyDeleteMmm, more of on your blog?
ReplyDeleteMore of you, my dear!
Sweet giveaways, all.
Happy Valentinesy weekend.
I love your blog - more of the same of course. I love the balance of poetry and prose, that you make me think and that I can, oh so often, relate to what you are writing.
ReplyDeleteI would just like to see more of everything you've been doing since i started visiting. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, and um....me win this time LOL.
Tabitha, I tried the link but it didn't work. Anyway, why I want to read more of your blog? Simply to get to know wonderful you more and build a cyber friendship!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Tab, Like Mary said above, I love your self-reflections, your poetry. You speak to the inner soul (few words that say Much about your writing!) I've been hung up with a major snow storm in the D.C. area and am getting back into the groove. I bought The Book Thief several weeks ago. Thought it would be a lovely winter read. I also like books around that period theme. However, I just couldn't get into the book. Maybe I was in an off mood; don't know. Everyone else loved it. Anyway, keep up the great work with your blog!
