Blog Award

Massive thank you to Lynnette from Chatterbox Chit Chat blog for this award. My third, yah me!

Here are the rules for the award:

1. Thank the person who nominated you for this award.

2. Copy the logo and place it on your blog.

3. Link to the person who nominated you for this award.

4. Name 7 things about yourself that people might find interesting. (see below)

5. Nominate 7 Kreativ Bloggers.

6. Post links to the 7 blogs you nominate.

7. Leave a comment on each of the blogs letting them know they have been nominated.

Okay, 7 possibly interesting things about me...

1. I speak conversational (means I have limited vocab!) French and Cantonese.

2. I scrapbook... I'll admit it... I. SCRAP. BOOK. There. I said it. I am out of the closet.

3. Occasionally I take a cup of tea and my Thesaurus to bed and just flick through words lists. I know. Sad. But words intrigue me.

4. I have a sister, four years younger than me, who I have not seen in over a year. I don't know where she is. Very sad. Makes me very, very sad.

5. Once I owned a chihuahua called 'Wiggie'. Don't ask my husband Matt to back that story up, he refuses to acknowledge the chihuahua we currently own, much less one from years before. I got 'Wiggie' when I was four years old and I was nineteen or so when she died.

6. Heights scare me silly, but I love to climb. One day I would love to walk over the Sydney Harbor Bridge. On one of their tours people, I am not scaling random infrastructures at will :)

7. Poetry is a good friend of mine. I write and read copious amounts of it.

Next... 7 Kreative Bloggers... in no particular order.

1. A Walk in My Shoes- Susan Mills

2. Another Gray Day- Kristin

3.White Platonic Dreams- T. Anne

4. Random Lunacy- Jenn

5. Megan Rebekah Blogs- Megan

6. Katie Ganshert- Katie

7. Comfort writer

  2. Thanks Jessica. Don't be too jealous of the languages. Like I said, 'limited vocab' VERY limited :)

  3. Congrats on the award and thanks for sharing it with me!! I love that you drink tea and flip through a thesaurus at night! I can say hola, that's about all I got when it comes to a second language. :)

  4. I love that this award is helping us all get to know each other a little better. LOL about the thesaurus. I've never known anyone who did that!

  5. No probs Katie. Yeah, I know. The tea drinking thesaurus thing is pretty sad, but .... what can I say :) I almost bought another thesaurus today. That would have been my third. You can never have enough books with word lists right?

  6. Thanks Steph. I think I am the ONLY one who does that! :)

  7. This makes me so want to meet you in person, Tabitha. You are just delightful and down to earth and funny. I am so sorry about your sister. I didn't have contact with my son for five years--it's excruciating. Perhaps one day....I'll hold that thought for you.

  9. Thank you so much! And congratulations to you. I used to scrapbook, too. I haven't done it in a while. I think writing has taken over all of my hobbies.

  12. Congratulations on your award. A sad thing about your sister; it has to hurt.
I love your Thesaurus reading. I like to click on that function in Word when I'm writing. It can take you new directions.
I'm so glad you dropped by my blog so that I came on over here. The But Why post is great.

  14. Yay me and Yay you! LOl about the coming out of the scrap book closet. I think it's fun and hard work too. I'm sorry about your sister. It's so hard when relationships go astray, I've certainly had that. :(

    Thank you for the award!

  18. Thanks all for the comments and the kind thoughts about my sister.

Thanks Jill for coming across to check out the blog. Nice to have you here too fiction groupie.

Tricia- would you believe that my word doc won't let me do that any more. I am most upset. I used to use it to shot off in new directions too.

Lazy writer, glad to see you are out of the closet about your scrapbooking. It is nice to revisit some of the things we used to do before writing. I know what you mean about writing taking over though. :)

  20. Congrats on your award, so well deserved! Very cool you can speak more than one language. What a bummer about your sister, losing touch with family is so very difficult. I will send out little prayers that she is safe and ok. A 14 year old chihuahua? I didn't think they generally lived that long, how fantastic!

I am honored you thought to pass this along to me thanks so much :-) This is great, I was wondering what to post today and this will go right in line with my random thought process Thursday theme! Thanks again!
